Tarion Registered and Approved 

To protect the rights of home owners and to provide guidelines and oversight, Tarion was created by the Provincial government in 1976. To be certified as a Tarion approved home builder is a significant achievement one that ServiceMaster of Oakville is proud to have attained.

In 2010 we applied for and were granted status as a registered Tarion Home Builder. The process involves a thorough understanding of the Ontario Building Code and the Tarion Warranty Program combined with solid business acumen. 

A good application of this certification for our clients is the 'Tarion Construction Performance Guidelines'. This provides objective and uniform criteria that sets out minimum performance requirements for all types of repairs performed in typical and not so typical reconstruction services. Our application of these guidelines to insurance calims complements our knowledge of the Ontario Building Code. To minimize liability for all parties in an insurance claim, ServiceMaster of Oakville's qualification as a Tarion Builder provides a demonstrated understanding of the Code as it relates to structural integrity and Healt and Safety matters.
